Standards Compliance
It is our belief that standards compliance is an integral part of creating functional and accessible web sites. By designing to what are known as web standards, the content of this web site is made available to a wider range of people and technologies. As a result, the pages on this site adhere to the following standards:
- Every effort has been made to make sure that pages on this site comply to at least the W3C WCAG Priority 1 Guidelines.
- All pages on this site should validate as XHTML and CSS2.
- All pages on this site use structured semantic markup. <h1> tags are used for the page heading, <h2> tags for main headings, <h3> tags for subheadings, <li> tags for list items, etc.
Validation
We have used XHTML 1.0 and CSS to conform to the design standards specified as laid out by the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. In an effort to bring the best possible service to the most users, not only does the Aplicor site meet Section 508 Compliance, but many areas are designed to exceed these standards and are fully compatible with the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Triple-A guidelines.
